HBO’s The Last of Us
Reviewed by; Jason Lopez of Sitch Radio
Hey everyone, If you have yet to see the latest hit series, HBO’s The Last of Us, then you are definitely missing out. But luckily, you will have double the entertainment to consume as you catch up. Now you can now binge the entire first season of The Last of Us on HBO, and The Last of Us Podcast, which I highly recommend going alongside. This podcast is hosted by Troy Baker, the original voice actor in the game, along with The Last of Us co-creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckman, the creator of the video game. I love how each episode of the series gets its respective podcast episode that dives deep into overarching themes the creators wanted to emphasize. If you love consuming behind-the-scenes content and understanding a creator's vision and process through it all, then this podcast is a must-listen too. I really enjoy how the hosts consistently make callbacks to the game and overall describe the journey it took to adapt a beloved and prestigious video game into a television series. You can listen to HBO’s The Last of Us Podcast wherever you subscribe to podcasts.
Rotten Tomatoes is Wrong
Reviewed by; Raul Rodriguez of Sitch Radio
Rotten Tomatoes is Wrong is a highly-rated podcast on Apple podcast from the company Rotten Tomatoes. The podcast hosts are Jacqueline Coley and Mark Ellis who review recent and older films adding informative analysis and entertaining commentary combined. Each episode has a unique theme and there are celebrity guests and other guests who have extensive film and television knowledge. The hosts Jacqueline and Mark lead topics about current films, older films, and newer films while bringing in other viewing outlets like the news media and video games. There are comedic aspects from the show tying in personal experiences from the hosts and their opinions on storytelling, celebrity, personal appearances, thoughts on relationships, and much more. I recommend tuning into Rotten Tomatoes is Wrong to get slightly more accurate reviews about beloved films, hated films, and television shows as well.
If you explored YouTube anytime between 2014 and 2015, then you most likely know who David Dobrik is and how he can easily be seen as one of the most notable YouTube vloggers of all time. In case you weren’t aware, David, alongside his close friend and colleague, Jason Nash, created a podcast called Views, which first began in 2017. In a more casual setting for podcasts, the hosts David and Jason come onto their weekly show and dive behind the behind-the-scenes of their YouTube career. I had my phase where I would watch all the vlogs that would be posted on David’s YouTube channel and whatever happened within those 5 minutes always surprised me because David and his friends would pull the craziest stunts for content and it was always entertaining to watch. They typically bring on guests to share their own stories. From wacky stories that reflect their exuberant lifestyle to more intimate discussions, it provides listeners like me with a different perspective on David Dobrik and his friends. While the podcast is seemingly not active anymore, there are more than 200 different episodes for you to listen to and they are just as amusing as the videos. If you’re a fan of David Dobrik yourself or enjoy crazy stories, then Views is the next podcast that you should be listening to.
